Along the way find out what effects time, weather, insects, diseases, and deer have had on the look and feel of this old growth stand. Points of Interest: deer exclosures, exhibits in the pavilion at the parking area. Hearts Content Interpretive Old Growth Trail is located on the Allegheny National Forest, in Warren County, between the towns of Warren and Tidioute. The trailhead parking lot is located at the picnic area of the Hearts Content Recreation Area 15 miles southwest of Warren, PA. Plan on this hike taking one hour, depending on individual fitness level and pace. This trail is rated more difficult due to slope, roots, and rocks. Restrooms are present at trailhead.
