Trail Description

Clarence Schock Memorial Park at Governor Dick is a natural area that covers more than 1100 acres. Originally used for making charcoal for nearby furnaces, the forest today provides habitat for many animal and bird species. In addition to hiking, biking, and horse trails (including the historic Horse-Shoe Trail), the Observation Tower draws visitors to a view of five counties on a clear day. Nature programs and displays are presented in the Environmental Center. For more information visit www.parkatgovernordick.org or call 717-964-3808.
