Luzerne County Levee Trail

The City of Wilkes-Barre, in Luzerne County is one of the larger river towns along the Susquehanna River. A recent levee raising project has provided the City and surrounding communities with a restored urban riverfront park—the River Common—and the Susquehanna River Levee Trail, over 12 miles of paved trail in 4 distinct reaches, linking a number of natural and recreational spaces over five municipalities.
