Lashure Interpretive Trail

Explore one of the smallest parcels of State Forest Land in the PAWILDS. Learn about forest management practices, tree identification, insects, and diseases, while you hike through a “working forest” on a self-guided tour. Adjacent to the Lashure Trail is the 180 acre Hunter Run Forest Stewardship Demonstration Area where you can explore ways to become better stewards of forest land. For those seeking a longer hike, Hunter Run and Jamison trails provide 4.3 additional miles of easy trail.
