Kane Woods Nature Area Trails

The Scott Conservancy dedicated the system of trails in the Kane Woods Nature Area. Approximately two miles of trails on 42 acres of the 72-acre nature area are marked with color-coded signs that can be accessed from four trailheads. The interconnecting trail system can be accessed from the Whiskey Point Trailhead on 1461 Scrubgrass Road & Main Street, Scott Township, Pittsburgh, PA 15106 or the Scrubgrass Run Trailhead, located at 1459 Scrubgrass Road. Parking areas have been created in front of the gates to the trailheads to provide off-street parking for those using the nature area at both trailheads. A shelter is also available at the Whiskey Point Trailhead.
