Trail Description

The River Walk Trail runs along the Delaware river and Neshaminy Creek. The trail is untreated and is four to six feet in width. There are several benches and a small overlook along the river. The trail starts along Delaware Drive and ends at the east end of Logan Walk. The Inner Loop Trail runs through the interior of the park from the rear parking lots to the fire lanes area of the park. This trail also serves as a maintenance road and emergency vehicle access. The Eagles Forest Trail leads through the Eagles Forest area of the park. Along the trail are several waysides providing information about native trees, carbon sequestration, healthy habitats, and the benefits of trees. This area was planted with new trees starting in 2007. Buck Trail is a wide unpaved path leading from pavilion #2 area to the pine plantation. Several areas provide good opportunities for bird and wildlife watching.
