Trail Description

Bear Run Nature Reserve is the flagship property of Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. Located on the western flank of Laurel Hill in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania, the Reserve offers hiking, backcountry camping, and hunting and fishing opportunities. Bear Run Nature Reserve also provides the setting for Fallingwater, the famous house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The Reserve consists of second-growth hardwood and conifer forests, old fields, and high-quality coldwater streams. There are over 20 miles of hiking trails on the Reserve, as well as a 700-ft ADA accessible trail located on the grounds of Fallingwater.
