Ephrata to Warwick Rail Trail
The Ephrata to Warwick Rail Trail is constructed along an abandoned section of the Reading Railroad. When complete, the Rail Trail will contain nearly ten miles of developed trail and connect the four communities of Ephrata Borough, Akron Borough, Warwick Township and Lititz Borough. Currently, two sections of the trail have been completed. There is a developed section of the rail trail from Chestnut Street in Ephrata to just past Main Street in Akron, with parking available at Fulton Street and East Queen Street in Ephrata and Fulton Street in Akron. The other developed section of the rail trail extends from Clay Road in Warwick Township to Oak Street in Lititz Borough, with parking available at the Warwick Township Municipal Campus Park on Clay Road and at the John Bonfield Elementary School. This section of the rail trail is a junction for several other trails in the community, more information can be found on the Lititz-Warwick Trailhead webpage on Explore PA.
